SafeDriveZone - Parent app for iPhone and iPad

Distracted Driving is one of the fastest growing causes of Automobile Accidents each year.

In over 35 states, Distracted Driving has been classified as a Primary Offense, meaning that State, County and Local Police can pull you over, just for holding the phone in your hand. That means, tickets, points on your record and large fines for something that was totally unnecessary, and can lead to unintended consequences like increased insurance rates and, of course, injury and death.

Distracted Driving is a Serious Problem, and SafeDriveZone is the Serious Solution.

SafeDriveZone consists of 3 pieces. The first, SafeDriveZone - Parent that you see here, is downloaded onto the Parents Device and through it, we identify "Driver" devices that we want to configure. Now, for simplicity, we use the term Parent to identify this part of the App, but SafeDriveZone is just as applicable for Spouses and Aging Parents - basically anyone you want to keep safe.

In SafeDriveZone - Parent, we establish a profile that is used to configure the behavior of the Drivers phone under various conditions. To begin, we establish a speed, above which, all inbound phone calls (except for people on an approved list), are silently redirected to voice mail and a message is sent that you are unable to take the call. All inbound text messages and push notifications are still logged, but are silenced (when that speed is reached), and only Apps that your approve are shown and available for access.

Next, we setup how long a phone will stay blocked after the Driver drops below the threshold speed - to handle Stop Signs and Stop Lights, a time period that a phone will ignore the threshold if the Driver is a passenger in someone elses car (or a bus or train)

As the Driver moves, we log their GPS location and speed, and you are notified when speeds exceed a value you establish as excessive. You can also play back and plot travel in a particular time period.

Now, SafeDriveZone - Parent is not a baby sitting App. It is an app to affect a behavioral change and to keep your family safe.
